ABOUT ME
I am a content marketer and brand journalist currently writing about some of the world's most renowned researchers in the fields of artificial intelligence, robotics, human-computer interaction, and wearable computing at Georgia Institute of Technology. I bring eight years of experience as a journalist and apply journalism principles to my content strategy, including:
Conceiving ideas from every possible angle and converting them into engaging content.
Leveraging my writing, interviewing and research skills to take readers deep into the stories I write.
Breaking down complex topics into a simplistic, readable narrative for general audiences.
Writing stories that standout in a crowded, noisy market and attract external media coverage.
I've worn many hats throughout my career and have no trouble learning new skills in order to put out the best possible content. Skills I've picked up along the way include:
Editing
Photography
Videography and video editing
Newspaper design
Using content management systems
Newsletter creation and management
Social media enhancment.
PORTFOLIO
Here's a look at some of my most impactful stories:
In 2025, I was honored to receive the Phoenix Award of Excellence for this story I wrote about a student who earned four degrees over 13 years at Georgia Tech. This story had high impact and engagement across multiple channels:
Over 200,000 impressions, 3,800 reactions and 83 comments on LinkedIn.
Over 100,000 views, 7,000 likes, and 100 comments on Instagram
Over 14,000 impressions, 380 likes, 24 reposts, and 13 comments on X (formerly Twitter)
I collaborated with communicators and researchers from Google Research to promote the news of Afri-Med QA, the most extensive dataset that enables technologists and researchers to develop more robust and accessible health chatbots for African contexts. This dataset was used in the training of Google's new healthcare large language model, MedGemma, as well that the latest version of Gemini.
